🚨 Family courts are failing women and children. The evidence is undeniable. New @RighttoEquality report finds 72.5% of judgments in domestic abuse cases contain judicial victim-blaming. 530 instances — mostly from judges. Mothers discredited, their trauma trivialised, rape myths repeated, abusers excused while their behaviour is minimised. This isn’t “neutrality”. It’s institutional misogyny that puts kids at risk and re-traumatises survivors. The report lands in Parliament TODAY. Enough secrecy. Enough bias. Enough judges marking their own homework. Judicial training on domestic abuse used to be a closely guarded state secret. A new step forward in transparency was announced today, with the Judicial College making this information public for the first time. I've long called for better training - and greater transparency on domestic abuse training across the judiciary and legal profession. Finally some progress has been made! 🥳 "The Right Honourable Lady Justice King DBE, chair of the Judicial College, writes in her foreword: “Alongside the prospectus, we are publishing an overview of training in domestic abuse for magistrates and judges in the family and criminal courts. It explains, for the first time, how training in domestic abuse is embedded across the curriculum." Judicial College embeds domestic abuse training into 'continuous' curriculum for judges - Today's Family Lawyer share.google/OEQjpR0ho1DOyNW…

THIS IS DISGUSTING! 🤬 Vinay Kanani, the so-called safeguarding trainer who teaches child protection in UK schools, nurseries, and care homes, was just caught red-handed arranging to meet a 14-year-old girl at a hotel to abuse her. Look at this monster nodding along casually like he’s ordering a takeaway, completely unfazed. No shame, no panic, just blank denial while the evidence is shoved in his face. He even asked the child if she wanted to travel and admitted he wanted to take her abroad. Think about that for a second. This predator had access to vulnerable kids every single day, training staff on safeguarding while grooming a child and planning to spirit her out of the country. What the hell would have happened if those hunters hadn’t caught him? How many others has he targeted? This is pure evil. A man in a position of trust, paid to protect children, betraying everything for his sick desires. The system failed. Vetting, checks, everything. Heads should roll. Lock him up for life and throw away the key!

The co-founder of fashion chain Superdry has been found guilty of raping a woman after a night out. James Holder, 54, of Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, had gone back to the woman's home, went to the toilet and then fell asleep on her bed. The multi-millionaire fashion boss then woke up and beckoned the woman, who was trying to sleep in the lounge, into her bedroom and raped her. Holder had denied charges of assault by penetration and rape and said what sexual activity took place between them was consensual. A jury at Gloucester Crown Court acquitted Holder of assault by penetration but found him guilty of rape. - SKY News.

#holdalljudgestoaccount I reported both barristers involved in my daughter’s RASSO trial to the BSB. Their replies say that improper questioning would have been prevented by judicial intervention. However the transcript shows this not occur. I knew the judge was at fault hence my protest outside every Crown court in England. But judges are untouchable. You can question their behaviour but not their case management. This isn’t justice. I feel like crying… #courtreform #nowheretoturn #judicialaccountability

As former Chief Prosecutor, mothers would remind me that Mother's Day is the day with the lowest crime in the whole year One explanation is that many mums commit crimes throughout the year, but can't that day because they're too busy being honoured Love to All❤️ #HappyMothersDay
