We are frustrated and disappointed to hear our decision makers talking about mental health in such a stigmatised light.
Mental health inequality will only be exacerbated by the recent narratives around mental health and work.
To those struggling right now, we see you.
We’re really excited to be taking part and cheering on walkers in the Glasgow Kiltwalk in less than 2 weeks. It will be great to see everyone - if you pass us then don’t forget to say hi!

One of the key themes from our recent research was need for intersectional representation in mental health.
This is representation that isn’t part of a tick-box exercise and isn’t tokenistic. It should centre lived-experiences!
ALT Project Sonrisa graphic with text reading ‘The need for intersectional representation in mental health spaces. 90% of the people we surveyed said they were more likely to feel seen and heard when they can relate to someone else’s story and or experiences however only 32% of respondents felt like they had actually seen themselves represented in mental health related media.’
