The Baltimore-based Annie E. Casey Foundation, earlier this week, released its annual Kids Count report. In Education, according to the report, Maryland now ranks 20th - which is 7 spots lower than a decade ago. Over the past 10 years, Maryland has seen one of the largest ranking drops. While states like Mississippi, Tennessee, Utah and Florida have all seen a boost in ranking.
