Last week, we started a new series on basic Sign Language and we taught you how to sign basic greetings, you can check our previous video if you missed it.
But what happens after the greeting? Let’s learn five more signs that can help you start a simple conversation.
There is a child somewhere in this country who has memorized the sound of laughter that is not meant to be kind.
She has learned to walk with her eyes forward because looking sideways means catching a stare she did not ask for.

- Share this post to break the silence
- Advocate for accessible mental health services in your community

Earlier this week, the Girls’ Educational Skills Partnership (GESP) team hosted a critical dissemination meeting to share our latest research findings on access to financial services.
We brought together key stakeholders to discuss barriers and co-create actionable solutions,
including representatives from The Apex Bank, Leading national financial institutions and The Disability Community.
Our goal is to ensure financial services and institutions across the country are fully accessible, equitable, and inclusive for persons with disabilities.

Policy vs Reality: The Inclusion Gap
Inclusive Education:
Policy: Education for all.
Reality: No ramps, no accessible materials, no trained teachers.
Equal Employment:
Policy: Equal opportunities for everyone.
Reality: Recruitment processes that exclude from the start.
Happy New Month Inclusion Community.
We are halfway through the year and your voice still matters here.
Keep showing up, keep making space for each other, and keep pushing for those milestones you set in January.
Small steps still counts.
You belong, you’re growing

At Project Enable, we see them. We celebrate them.
We fight for them everyday.
Inclusion is not optional.
Getting to work shouldn’t feel like a battle. But for some, it is.
While some of us complain about Lagos traffic and rainy Monday mornings, others are navigating flooded roads, inaccessible buses, broken pavements, and a transport system that was never designed with them in mind
