Supporters of the Non-League pyramid being restructured this summer to avoid 2nd successive null & void season. Reward clubs! Relegate none! Positive solution!
Let's use this period of uncertainty for non-league football to proactively address the planned restructure via PPG:
0⃣ No teams relegated across Steps 3-6
🔝Reward strongest teams from 2019-21 with promotion
🔁Allow @fa to restructure the pyramid

Yesterday's confirmation of the FA Restructure was a great day for Non League. Congratulations to all the fantastic clubs that benefitted from hard-earned upwards movement. So happy for you all.
We only wish clubs higher up the pyramid had benefitted similarly.
We are delighted to say the FA restructure for Steps 4/5 will happen! Good luck to the 110 clubs that will benefit of an upward movement. #ProjectNonLeague
Following the curtailment of the 2020-21 season at tiers three to six of the women's football pyramid, clubs are now able to apply to move into the league or division above the one in which they currently play:

The women’s upward movement opens today and the men’s teams hopefully open on Monday for those clubs in Steps 5 and 6 that are in either in the top 3 or top 5 of their division. Three clubs would be invited to apply if 1 slot available
A top tweet from a club that finishes 4th on PPG when the top 4 were due to go up. Tooting Bec misses out unless a space comes up and they wish their rivals well for an upward movement. Fair play @TootingBecFC 👏
Well done to @jersey_bulls@FarnhamTownFC & @waltonhershamfc on their impending promotion from CCL div 1.
Had some great battles with each of you and fully deserve to go up.
Pleased to see the top teams in the league rewarded for their excellence over the last 24 months 👏
We really struggle to understand the mentality of certain clubs who seem to be against the restructure even though their club isn't in the conversation for a promotion. They just seem to want to hold other better performing clubs back and repeat the same season for a 3rd time?
The restructure was coming regardless. This gets it done now, sees no clubs relegated and rewards teams who've performed better than any other club in their league over 2 years. It's a no brainer!
There's no perfect solution but this is the closest thing available.
Our preference would have been for promotion to take place at Step 3/4 as well as there are clubs at that level that are being held back and there would have been spots available in higher leagues.
But this is a lot better than nothing!
It's very important clubs in line to receive promotion based on PPG criteria (& other clubs who support the changes regardless of what they stand to gain) contact NLS@thefa.com offering their support for the proposed changes.
The restructure was due anyway, let's get it done.
Clubs, please do not stand by and wait. Do whatever you can to get these changes over the line. You all stand to gain (should you wish to be promoted) but don't underestimate the role one email can play.
We've come this far. Let's get it done! #NLSrestructure#ProjectNonLeague
