BIGGER HUMANITARIAN CRISIS THAN THE CIVIL WAR… this is insane. Not sure the president should have any higher priority.
From the papers I’m reading, banditry is actually a worse problem than terrorism, At least since 2021. They’ve caused a bigger humanitarian crisis in the NW than the NE. Probably why the military asked the US to bomb Sokoto first.

If you don’t rate this man highly, then honestly your judgment should be questioned. This genius is always articulate, coherent, and makes sense whenever he speaks. A real gem lagos definitely missed. Long live BRF.
Very intellectually stimulating presentation by H.E Babtunde Fashola @tundefashola @theplatformng yesterday.

Nigeria’s problem is bigger than “improve transparency, stop corruption”. We are a democracy not an authoritarian state. Are you going to carry cane and start flogging people into doing your wish??? If the legislature is corrupt but the President is not, how does he “improve transparency, stop corruption” by being the lone good man without getting kicked out and throwing the nation into pandemonium? I know of a guy who tried this, they sent him packing, thank God for the judiciary his people insult every day. Democracy requires you to play politics, you just have no choice.
I can't get over people pretending that Nigeria's problem is bigger than "improve transparency; stop corruption"

All this thing on the list ain’t really a problem for Lagos, so I’m not stressing over any other state, whether it’s funding, recruitment, or implementation. At the end of the day, I only care about Lagos, nothing else.

We will figure it out along the way There's no better time to start than now This is how we were thinking Removal of subsidy until it became Fish bone in our neck. Let's have state police now and we start implementation gradually.

“Turn of the South” people don’t have the moral high ground for this conversation.
Gov Adeleke needs to tone down this Tinubu thing Abeg, the thing dey vex me. Let’s focus on getting you re-elected Abeg. He’s literally saying he will be supporting Tinubu cuz he’s from Osun, not cuz he’s confidence in his ability to perform. It’s nauseating

Na Jimoh Ibrahim funny pass. He completed his four-year PhD six months before the duration and literally co-authored a book with the former dean of Cambridge Business School about government projects
Baba ọkọ mi, Jimoh Ibrahim has a Cambridge PhD and his head is full of gba ideas. Please be serious.

The thing is, the president can’t constitutionally demand governance transparency from state governors. So, “stopping corruption” is more political marketing than reality. A 🇳🇬 president is limited on his jurisdiction in both aspects.
I can't get over people pretending that Nigeria's problem is bigger than "improve transparency; stop corruption"

You can’t appoint “governor accountability institutions” when governors have immunity. What’s the point of accountability if there’s no real-time consequence for it? Imagine waiting 8 years to prosecute governors🤣🤣🤣. Better vote in sensible ones in your states
Replying to @OmolewaAbraham
Oh he actually can micromanage governors, it's not hard, just appoint people that make governance accountability institutions work and you have fixed the governors coupled with a zero rigging election and the nation is already on reset mode, it's not that hard!

Like as we are happy that the army is killing some bandits, some are sad because its job loss for them?
Did you know that these guys hire these villagers to farm for them? Like there are thousands of Nigerians who are “employed” by bandits?

Does President Tinubu not understand inefficiency? If the President is interested in our National security, Ribadu and the Service Chiefs should be off their jobs by now.

Maybe they will bring the overwhelming force from heaven. Like I said, lots of Nigerians lack basic reading comprehension and cannot, like 50 cent said, “read one page of an Harry Potter book”.
Continue! Lack of policy implementation, Corruption, lack of policy evaluation, lack of policy formulation etc. The Nigeria Government is using what we call Contemporary strategy in war against terrorism instead of applying overwhelming force or massive retaliation.

This ,the average politician who has climbed up the political ladder is smarter than the average Nigerian. Bosun Tijani was the smartest man in Nigeria who had tech solutions for everything until he was made minister.

Something Ayobami said on that podcast that I was surprised that a lot of people didn’t know is the fact that we’re being led by the smartest people in the country. I’ve always thought it was common knowledge.
