Had a conversation with a D2 coach yesterday about one of my guys. His comment to me was I saw him once this summer. Only was there for 3 innings because the game was a blow-out, but in that time, I loved the footwork I saw in between innings when taking ground balls. Caught our attention.
The work you do in between innings matters and will be noticed in a positive or negative way.
Now that kid is on their list of players to pursue in the fall.
