Gen Kainerugaba Channels UGX 100 Million Birthday Run Cash to Support Child Cancer Foundation. Part of the proceeds from the recent Gen MK 52nd Birthday Run have been directed to support the Uganda Child Cancer Foundation (UCCF), following the charity event held last month. The 10-kilometer marathon, which took place on April 26, 2026, at the Kololo Independence Grounds in Kampala, brought together thousands of participants under the theme "Run for Charity, Run for Hope." The event raised funds intended to support orphans, babies' homes, and vulnerable communities across Uganda.

Uganda Social Media creator Teng Teng is on the wall after having a disagreement with his manager that forced him to walk away with all his social media accounts, Teng Teng claims that he has only received $100 from his YouTube that has over 4 million subscribers and the other money that come from side gigs cater for so many things including school fees leaving him in the space where he can’t even afford a bicycle for himself. The manager claims that the accounts belong to him because it’s him that created them while Teng Teng’s father also claims that the accounts belong to his son since he is the face of the content.

I was trying to toast bread and somehow managed to black out the entire house. Sockets dead everywhere. TV cut off. My baby literally walked into the kitchen like "what did you do?" 😭
My partner’s phone was off, so in a panic, I had to ask Gemini (AI) what to do. It literally guided me through turning off the main switch, unplugging everything, and flipping the circuit breakers.
The power came back on and I have never felt like such a powerful, independent adult in my life. Don't talk to me, I’m an engineer now.😂😂😂😂

I wish to draw the attention of the public to the matters regarding the Speakership race.
After wide consultations and deep introspection, and to maintain harmony and clarity in my beloved party, the @NRMOnline, I wish to categorically and unequivocally state that I will not be offering myself for the Speakership race of the 12th Parliament.
I am greatly indebted to H.E @KagutaMuseveni, my party, the @NRMOnline, and members of the 11th Parliament for giving me the opportunity to serve as Deputy Speaker and Speaker.
I am equally indebted to my family and friends for the solidarity and support they have extended to me over the last five years.
I pledge my total support to the candidates who will be endorsed by the President and the Party, and Implore all colleague MPs of the 12th Parliament to do the same.
I shall remain available to the service of my country as the party and the President may assign me.
In the meantime, I pledge to continue cooperating with all ongoing investigations as initiated by the relevant organs of the state to get to the root of all the allegations raised.

The govt’s move to investigate AAA for corruption is really good. It was long overdue. Thank you Gen Muhoozi and PLU.
We also want the Mabaati case reopened coz the beneficiaries were a long chain of people in public office. On another note, I still can’t believe Kabanda is now so close to the big table. He even betrayed his friend AAA. This has made me scared of people we call friends every day. I remember when Kabanda and AAA used to take trips to Italy 😂😂 naye man emikwano!🙌
