It's 🧬Startup Saturday🧬 and today the topic is Sci Find @sci_find, a collaborative platform building a repository of open-access scientific methods. Sci Find's main goal is to create a community that captures the experimental knowledge lost in peer review publications 🧵

Incredible social network analysis of #COVID19 contact tracing data in Karnataka, India. Shows both the importance of super-spreading and that interventions came to late. The network data are anonymized and public. cambridge.org/core/journals/…

A great day when the PM announces some major initiatives to take India's Healthcare into a digital future. This has the potential to revolutionize Indian healthcare. I hope other recommendations are also adopted. #NDHM @ibhushan @drmukho1 @krishnakant_75 swarajyamag.com/ideas/how-to…

I have worked with and personally witnessed the strengths and challenges of #AyushmanBharat. A unified DigiMed record can not only enhance patient care, but also minimize redundant spending. We would love to learn more about this project. Is there a detailed resource available?

Gratifying to note some recommendations & ideas listed in our article are being adopted by the #NationalDigitalHealthMission. We hope in future others will be adopted too. Chiefly, an open-source implementation is must. @amitabhk87 @SwarajyaMag @rsprasad swarajyamag.com/ideas/how-to…

Indeed. Also, healthcare employment doesn't have much volatility. For this to happen though, the govt should fully exploit the potential of PMJAY by creating a national electronic medical record system, & by promoting newer healthcare business models.

If NEMRS were created it will be possible to predict epidemics of any kind including virus-caused ones much earlier than other agencies could, using technologies like big data and AI. It could also predict where and how it would spread. qz.com/1791222/how-artificia…

Political exigencies come and go. Nation building must go on apace. We cannot afford to continue as a starving and sickly people. NEMRS is software. It needs no extravagant spending on raw materials, only a handful of dedicated and creative minds, and indomitable political will.

In the countries with centralized electronic medical record systems, immediately protocols are being added to care processes of all patients examined when an epidemic like #nCoV occurs. Which is why India should have its own National Electronic Medical Record System.
