I am a Congruist, I adhere to the idea that Efficacious Grace is Extrinsic, meaning its effect to cause humans to do good action is contingent on whether or not they agree to cooperate to the sufficient graces God gives everyone.
Legitimate question, since this came across my timeline.
If everyone else is “abnormal” but it is totally possible to be saved from original sin up front… why wouldn’t God just do that for all of His children?
That’s something that has always perplexed me about this dogma.

I predict there will arise a Post-Woke leftist ideology that no longer believes hierarchy and oppression are curable by altering institutional systems but are innate to reality itself. Which will lead to them declaring reality itself is an evil existence created by a Demiurge.
