GenLayer’s Consensus Model, Optimistic Democracy: Optimistic democracy is built to make blockchain decisions smarter without making them slow. The basic idea is simple: instead of relying on one validator to decide what happens, GenLayer asks a group of validators to check the same transaction and vote on a result. If most of them agree, the network accepts the outcome. What makes this different from a normal blockchain is that GenLayer is designed for Intelligent Contracts, not just rigid smart contracts. These contracts can use LLMs, web data, and other real-world inputs, which means the answer is not always perfectly deterministic. In other words, two validators may look at the same input and produce slightly different outputs.
