The transfer portal and 12-team playoff have changed everything. These 3 teams aren't supposed to contend for a national title—but don't be surprised if they're in the CFP hunt by November. thepublicmoney.com/3-teams-t…

Incredible NBA Finals so far. Great playoffs. Good for the NBA.

Watching Stephen A. Smith and Chris Russo talk about college football is like watching a helicopter crash into the side of a mountain.

Most of LeBron James’ fans are younger and never saw Michael Jordan play. Those who watched both know there’s really no comparison.

The Braves have clearly been playing above their heads through the first third of the season. Unfortunately for Braves fans, it feels like a regression to the mean could be heading their way.

Given @GeorgiaFootball favorable schedule this season, 9.5 wins seems almost guaranteed, barring any midseason Penn State-like collapse.

Be careful with live betting. It can be beatable, but sportsbooks use mathematical models while many bettors rely on quick gut decisions.

If the WNBA stopped promoting every hard foul and Caitlin Clark controversy, a lot of the social media engagement would disappear overnight. Love her or hate her, she’s the only player that matters in that league.

It's difficult to imagine New York's offensive weapons not continuing to apply pressure against Cleveland, even on the road. While the Cavaliers have played well at home throughout the playoffs, we're leaning toward the Knicks again here catching 2.5 points. The moneyline at plus money is also intriguing, as we like New York to pull out a close outright victory. thepublicmoney.com play: Knicks 2.5

In Game 1, everything went right for the Spurs as they controlled the tempo and benefited from a poor shooting night from OKC. Game 2 followed the more expected script. We like OKC as a small road dog and will take the points with the deeper, more experienced team.

We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport's greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old. We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.

I love SGA as a player and his game is as smooth as we've seen in quite some time. But the flop compilation from Game 2 is damning.

How is it possible that Kendrick Perkins has stumbled into the lead NBA analyst at ESPN? If that’s the standard, the bar is lower than ever.

Fox and the Big Ten are all-in on a 24-team CFP expansion — not for the good of the sport, but to gain a piece of the broadcasts currently controlled exclusively by ESPN. Do not fool yourself into thinking there is a college football commissioner, league office, or committee making decisions for the benefit of the sport. Every party involved operates out of isolated self-interest.

Coach O’s hiring at LSU feels like a direct response from Lane Kiffin to the Brian Kelly era. Kiffin appears to be sending an early message to fans that he understands and embraces @LSUfootball culture.

Knicks -6.5 tonight at home in Game 2 vs. Cleveland. Heavy juice on Cavs. Look for number to close at -6 or -5.5 Knicks have been a great home team all season. Lay the points with confidence.
