The 49 students we took to Austria had the best time and really made all 6 staff incredibly proud! What an amazing week we had, from Skiing Blue / Red and Black runs, to live Ice Hockey, Bowling and the infamous Hawaiian shirt day on the last day! #pudskibear

From over 150 books donated to just a handful left behind, our school book swap has been a massive success once again! Thank you to all students who donated. Books that weren't taken at the swap will still be available to grab from our little free library.

A huge congratulations to Linda who has worked with us in the school kitchen for an incredible 35 years. Linda is well loved by all students and staff and is renowned for her fantastic baking. We look forward to many more years of Linda looking after us!

One of our Year 13 students, Zara, met the award-winning and much-loved children's author Robin Stevens at a book signing event. We managed to get the 'Murder Most Unladylike' series and her two newest books signed by the author herself and are available for students borrow.

A huge well done to Addison in Year 7. She is the 7 time Northeast Champion 2024, the fastest swimmer in Britain for 200m breast stroke, 200m Individual medley & 200m butterfly and achieved 9 medals in total after competing in 15 events over 2 days. We are super proud of you!

Thank you to the #restartaheart team and the #yorkshireambulanceservice who have today provided our Year 7 students with specialist CPR training. This lifesaving skill is one that our students will carry with them every day and could potentially save a life.

Congratulations to all of our fantastic Year 13 students on their exam results! They have done well and we wish them all well for the future. They are taking the next step in their lives but we hope they will look back on their time at Pudsey Grammar School with great fondness.

Our #MandarinExcellence trip to China had their flight yesterday cancelled as they were at the airport - their next one home isn’t until tomorrow. So….we arranged for them all to go to Disneyland Shanghai on their extra day! They have been singing along to Let It Go in Mandarin.
