Puget Sound Fire and Renton RFA responded to a residential fire in the 9600 block of S 216th Street. Firefighters arrived and found the back side of the house on fire and fire in the attic area. It took firefighters about an hour to extinguish the fire.
The resident and passerby were both evaluated at the scene by @KingCoMedicOne and one was transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance. Sadly, one dog died in the fire.
The resident exited the house but went back inside to get their dog. Another passerby went into the smoke filled house to get the resident back out to safety.
Smoke from the fire could be seen from over a mile away. A neighbor spotted the fire and rang the doorbell to alert the residents. A passersby called 9-1-1.
Sadly, this vehicle vs motorcycle accident has resulted in one fatality. Northbound 104th Avenue SE will be closed for 2 to 3 hours while Kent PD investigates.
Puget Sound Fire, @KingCoMedicOne, and WSP is on scene of a serious accident on eastbound Hwy 18, west of SE 231st Street. Three patients transported to a Seattle area hospital with serious injuries. Please avoid the area.
Puget Sound Fire, KCFD2, Port of Seattle FD, and South King Fire & Rescue responded to an apartment fire in the 19700 block of International Blvd. Firefighters encountered a fire on the 3rd floor, extending to the 4th floor.
The building’s fire protection sprinkler system controlled the fire and firefighters extinguished the fire. VRFA and King County Medic One also responded.
The travel trailer is a total loss. the house suffered significant fire damage. The neighbor’s house sustained minor damage due to the quick actions of the firefighters. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
King County Fire District 2 and Puget Sound Fire responded to a residential fire in the 10200 block of 26 Avenue SW. Firefighters arrived to a fire in a travel trailer that had extended to a house, fence, and neighbor’s home.
Puget Sound Fire responded to a residential fire in the 27300 block of 154th Avenue SE. Firefighters arrived and found flames coming from a second floor window.
It took firefighters about an hour to extinguish the fire. The closest hydrant was over a mile away so tenders were used to shuttle water to the scene.
