The spaceX IPO tells me everything I need to know. Normie perception drives the market.

The problem with collab events in video games is that the video game is not about the collab character. So you get the collab character, play the 10 minute story about them and would leave because the character doesn't appear (Star Rail).

God I love this OST, and this guy just made it 100x better.
WIP Some progress on my arrangement of Imbalance/Alice.

The difference between me and you is that I have Asuka fumo and you don't.

Nice to see a cable was fucking up a read/write operation on an external disk. Somehow the first time I've seen that happen.

put nixos on my laptop, ngl this already saved me time. Feels really nice to have a systemd based distro again.

For reference on how cheap this is, is the entry level MacBook air, with a worse display, half the storage, and a 20% faster CPU in some workloads (trades at others), worth paying 60% more? the Apple laptops are actually not that badly priced given the shortages (better than pc)
Just got a yoga slim 7 (It's basically the mikutop) to replace my old thinkpad. Paid around 660 gbp with a discount for it, same perf tier as a m5, a 120hz oled (1000 nits), 16gb of ram, and a 1tb ssd. I've also tried the keyboard irl, pretty nice. (pic from @ConstantGeekery)

Genuinely don't understand why lenovo is letting go of these for <700.

This is the part where they use your money (taxes) to pay to put computers next to you (you will be subsiding the electricity bill), so that you can pay again to rent a computer from them (they bought all the computers).
I have an idea what this is, and I'm not going to like it.

You know, I'm really, really, really, tired. The future of software is enshittification.
I don't want to point fingers, but my picasso laptop (3500u) quite literally crashes at a hardware level if tlp sets the dpm performance level. I'm too tired to figure out exactly what is happening, but I'd guess it's a firmware bug (since this used to work previously).

The only thing I can think of is a regression in linux-firmware.

I sincerely regret not buying a laptop earlier this year. Looking at an LG gram 17, or another laptop with a big screen.

My feed is just: "Why does 512KB iphone feel much smoother than 128PB Android? 🤔"
