Announcement: Charlie Puth just switched stages, literally. The hitmaker behind “Attention” and “Light Switch” has signed with UTA for global representation across all areas, the agency revealed today (Wednesday, Sept. 3). He was previously with Wasserman, but like any good chart-climber, he knows when it’s time to change key.
“Charlie’s artistic vision extends well beyond the world of music,” said UTA partner and co-head of talent Jay Gassner. “His incredible talent as a storyteller and creator opens the door to new opportunities and we’re excited to bring them to life.”
Translation: expect Puth popping up in unexpected places, maybe even outside the recording booth.
He’ll still be anchored by his familiar crew... managers Mikaela Puth and Ty Stiklorius, and business manager Josh Klein.
But the twist? With UTA at the wheel, Charlie’s next “hook” might not just be in a song, it could be in film, TV, or a project no one saw coming.
