The support over the past week, the sponsorships, donations, and incredibly kind words are SO appreciated and helped me get through the final part of the course. I'm quite hopeful for the future of PySimpleGUI and love this experience. It is truly unbelievable at times. ❤ & 🙏!

In addition to the Udemy Course announcement, there is one more to make... the closing of all PySimpleGUI Social Media accounts. I've been taking my own path with the PySimpleGUI project and this is not a big departure from that path. I'm simply continuing forward.

The messages I read... and re-write in my lab notebook... have been heartwarming, motivating, and touching to the point I'm in tears by the end of the message. I've never experienced anything so special and this part of my life is something I cherish.

The words "Thank you" fall short of the gratitude I feel for the individuals that have been selflessly helping me move in a positive direction. Every morning I write a list of things that I'm thankful for. Users & friends make it an easy list to make. That itself is priceless.🙏

#PySimpleGUI 4.55.1 🕷 OK, so, sometimes a .1 release is needed when I get in a hurry and rush a last-minute-fix into a release. In my haste to get the psgmain/psgupgrade fix released, I broke the global Python Interpreter setting. It's bad enough to trigger a .1 release. 🤞

#PySimpleGUI release 4.55.0 is a really good one for using the psg commands like psgmain & psgupgrade. 4.54.0 from yesterday had the most in it, followed by 4.55.0 today. Nice to see so many happy users. 🙏 Been away working hard. Until next time... pysimplegui.readthedocs.io/e…

psgresizer - The latest #PySimpleGUI application released to PyPI. Resizes images quickly & easily. Option to Base64 encode them for pasting into your PySimpleGUI application. pip install psgressizer Then type psgresizer from command line or use psgshortcut to make a shortcut

The PyPI readme pypi.org/project/psgresizer/ has instructions on how to make a Windows shortcut to this program so that you can double-click instead of opening command window. Or, watch this GIF for how to do it.
BTW - for all PySimpleGUI programs I use, I usually paste the shortcut to the image directly into the input. On windows, SHIFT Right Click and choose "Copy as Path" from Windows Explorer. You have to use the shift key. Right-clicking alone doesn't show the option.

#PySimpleGUI release 4.53.0 posted to PyPI. This is a really good one! Yea, I often say that, but really, it's good. The "psg commands" are working GREAT! psgupgrade is all you need to type to get the latest from GitHub installed on your machine. psgmain launches main(), etc.

#PySimpleGUI Tip of the Day: If you like something from the eCookbook & don't want to be bothered to copy & paste to your local machine, then you can download the files instead. Choose download, open the Zip, run the .py file, see GUI on your PC. eCookbook.PySimpleGUI.org

While recording new video lesson for #PySimpleGUI on the Image Element, added this simple example of using Image Elements to make custom Radio Buttons. It's trival to do. I hear plenty & often how ugly tkinter looks, but rarely see attempts to use existing abilities to improve.
