Fortnite used DirectX 12 where true Full Screen Enabled doesn't actually exist anymore.
Even if your game says Fullscreen, it's still some version of a borderless windowed anyway.
Fortnite has been CHANGING to Windowed Fullscreen
Here's HOW to FIX โ
OPEN Epic Games Launcher
Go to ADD COMMAND LINES (Settings all the way down)
Add in -fullscreen as seen
NOW IT'LL BE FULLSCREEN โ

๐จ The biggest reason you are losing frames in OBS is downscaling on the Output tab.
Downscaling on the Output tab operates on the CPU, single threaded, and will cause a performance bottleneck.
Doing the scaling on the Video tab will put the work on the GPU which is optimized for this so uses few resources.
