It was a big weekend of racing between the second woman in four years training a @BelmontStakes winner and multiple breeding crosses letting their success be known in races on both sides of the Atlantic. Safe to say, it was a racing nerd's dream from start to end this week!

This weekend showed the @coolmoreamerica stallion barn has a successful cross on its hands with current resident Tiz The Law showing that he crosses well with the late Scat Daddy (which bodes well for Justify mares bred to the stallion as well).

If you are visiting Keeneland to watch Golden Tempo train we had this special rub pad made to easily find him. He leaves the barn at 8 Sun-Thursday, breezes Friday (generally) at 7:30.

Did you know that if all 14 horses entered start, Saturday's @preaknessstakes field will be the biggest field we've seen in the Preakness since there were 14 in 2011?
The full field of 14 have started the race twice since 2000 & the average field size has been 10 starters.

It was a huge weekend for stallions in the G1 Kentucky Oaks, G1 @KentuckyDerby, G1 2000 Guineas, and G1 1000 Guineas with three of them dominating classic races and the fourth capping off a very productive first classic experience for a freshman sire!

Golden Tempo is bred on the same Curlin x Bernardini mare cross that has given us 7 GSW, 11 SW, &13 SH from 43 runners with the colt joining Clairiere & Paris Lights as G1 winners bred on the cross.
He's also one of 12 GSW, 17 SW, & 26 SH by Curlin o/o A.P. Indy granddaughters.

Time to bow down to Curlin again. He sired the winner, is the damsire of the second place horse, and is the grandsire of third place finisher Ocelli.
Curlin had three runner-up finishers in the Derby before today (Journalism, Exaggerator, Good Magic).
