Results from our #RePST trial showed that PZQ efficacy measurements vary based on the diagnostic method used: egg-based diagnostics show different patterns compared to worm-based diagnostics.

Diagnosing #schistosomiasis without a microscope:
POC-CCA and PCR on stool are suitable screening tools, while ultra-sensitive and highly specific UCP-LF #CAA showed a large number of additional infections - mainly of low worm burden 🪱
