A great morning spent tree planting in Belleville with @rotarybell@BellevilleON and community volunteers for #TDTreeDays. Together, we’re restoring urban forests. Over 500 trees were planted at Township Park - maples, oaks, aspens, birch, cherry, pine, cedar and shrubs.

Stay off ice and away from fast flowing water – It is especially important to be aware of ice-covered water and fast flowing water. Stay clear of banks and shorelines as they can be slippery and unstable during the winter and spring months.
2022 was a busy year for our @QCOutreach team and @WatershedsCAN!
They planted 4,904 native plant species to help restore 21,804 m2 of shoreline habitat throughout the watershed!
