D’Alessio is a 6’2 181 left shot defenseman who is 2027 draft eligible being a December ‘08 birthday. 16 points in 48 games in his 16/17 age season.

To add on to this I expect to see more current commits see the writing on the wall going forward. Quinnipiac will continue to always to look to improve the roster year after year even at the expense of guys currently committed. It’s the nature of the current college landscape.

Joey Macrina had previously been committed to Quinnipiac, but he has been an NCAA free agent for the past few months. He scored some of the most clutch goals for the Stampede during their Clark Cup run. I imagine he’ll be scooped up very soon 👀

Quinnipiac commits had a big night for Kitchener in Game 1 of the Memorial Cup. Christian Kirsch had a 24 save shutout while Dylan Edwards had a goal and an assist in the 5-0 win.

Starting with the 2026-27 season, Division I men's ice hockey games will use a trapezoid area marked below the end line. Goalkeepers will be allowed to play the puck below the goal line in this area of the ice, but not outside this area toward the corners of the rink. This aligns with National Hockey League rules and markings. Division III men's ice hockey will add this for the 2027-28 competition season to allow planning for this adjustment.

4.25⭐️ Jan Golicic commits to @QU_MIH - the 6'5" defender from Slovenia was a 4th round pick of the @TBLightning in 2024 and has been playing in the #QMJHL.

Pretty sure I expect Jan Golicic coming into Hamden this fall. He’s going to be 20 in June and he’s ready after 3 seasons in the QMJHL.

Golicic is a 6’5, 201 pound left shot defenseman that plays a hard and mean physical game. 2024 4th round pick of the Tampa Bat Lightning.
