⚠️ A stormy Monday in the D.C. area
⛈️ Scattered showers and storms this morning into early afternoon, a few possibly severe.
⚡ After 3 p.m., a line of strong to severe storms may develop with damaging winds and a few tornadoes, progressing from west to east. Not everyone may experience severe weather, but many ingredients are there for it.
🌡 Highs near 70 before temps plunge tonight. Rain may briefly end as sleet or wet snow.

Gaithersburg Aquatic Center & Gaithersburg Youth Centers will be closed.
Benjamin Gaither Center will close at 2pm
Gaithersburg Student Union and all afternoon and evening programs in MCPS facilities are canceled.
