More fun discoveries as I continue my research, and today’s finds are truly fabulous! My favourite so far is a gem from some typed notes on the history of The Queen’s School Association (now our alumnae network). In 1951, the Autumn Committee meeting recorded: 1/2

2/2 "Evelyn Higgins had been asked by an Old King’s Scholar to suggest the holding of a joint sherry party for the Old Queen’s School Girls and Old King’s School Boys. Finally, it was decided by a show of hands that a sherry party should be held, but not a joint one."

Archive Discoveries Continue! 📷📷 Following on from yesterday’s archive deep dive , the search continues—and what a treasure trove it’s turning out to be! Today, I’ve found whole school photographs from 1924, 1925, 1933, 1937, 1946, 1949, 1951, 1957, 1961, and 1988. 1/2
