I guess my point is that from the moment I watched the 1st video I suspected certain details would be clarified over time, but I still cant figure out what Best's deal is. And if BAM is less guilty than they appear, why try to shut down the Patreon? The gofundme? Are they stupid?

The only thing I can currently say in favor of BAM/Best is that if someone made a video today titled "I tracked down the thief who stole $200,000 of LEGO", I do think it would legally be libelous. But at the time, the details were obfuscated by design.

Chibnall very much did get the show canceled as it existed at the time. The difference is that Chibnall left the show on a much more approachable note for people interested in taking over. I can't imagine anyone who would want to start the show where RTD ended it.
