Today's Sunday makes it one week I decided to stop chasing attention to job hunting for one whole week without distraction.
So if you noticed my posts had been inconsistent, it's because of the work I had been doing behind the scene.
Today I would share with you something important I learnt while job hunting.

I realised not every opportunity is one, most freelance web3 jobbers don't lose because of talent.
They lose because they attach to the wrong environment.
Talent only doesn't cut the coat, who you work for also has an impact on your growth especially in the crypto space where it's filled with startup founders that are also trying to figure things out.
1. No Clear Direction
If the founder can't explain the product, model, or vision. You won't build. You'll absorb chaos.
2. All Hype, No Foundation
Virality without retention. Impressions without infrastructure. Temporary attention mistaken for a business.
This is caused by lack of focus and discipline from the founding team, you do something today next week you would be asked to do another without any improvement.
3. Unstable Leadership
Impulsive decisions. Public outbursts. Ego over clarity. Leadership psychology becomes team psychology always.
4. Undefined Roles
No clear ownership means you'll absorb everything and be credited for nothing. Today you're an SMM tomorrow you're modding the community next tomorrow you're the designer, it's all a recipe for burnt out.
5. No Respect For Strategy
They want noise. Not positioning. That means they're chasing dopamine, not building anything real.
Note: Job hunting isn't just who will hire me but more about what you're psychologically entering.
The right environment multiplies you.
The wrong one slowly erodes you.
Choose carefully. Your environment becomes your momentum.
