I’m excited to share that I’m starting a new company. It has been an amazing 12 years first with #CitusData and #Microsoft, and then back home with #YCombinator - I am grateful for every minute of it, to work with amazing people, and to help build a part of the future with wonderful customers, founders and friends. Now, I’m going back at it with my fellow co-founders Ozgun Erdogan and Daniel Farina, and a stellar team we’ve worked together with before. #Ubicloud is an open and portable cloud. The cloud is here to stay, and we believe a simpler, portable and open version of it will make a lasting difference. Companies can self-host Ubicloud anywhere for more control and simplicity, or use our managed service for core cloud services that reduce their cloud spend to a fraction. We are starting with VMs, virtual networking, block storage (non-replicated), with data always encrypted, and fine-grained access controls to manage it all.
