Is there a way (a 3rd party company or something) that I can get my digital photos printed without AI?

All they have to do is start having you distrust everyone who isn’t them from an early age & then you’ll start policing yourself, testing others, hiding yourself from people, & self-sabotaging relationships with or without realizing it It’s a self (or parent) fulfilling prophecy

If your parents are abusive, this is a common tactic to isolate you and keep you dependent on them emotionally No friends? No one to tell you that something is actually weird. No one else to rely on. No one else to live with or plan a future with. No other perspectives to trust
what’s with parents thinking all your friends are just using you and you must exercise extreme caution at all times

i resent the way surviving in this society distracts us from the issues that are crucial to our (and other animals) survival on this planet as a species.
NGL learning that the collapse of the AMOC will lead to die-off of plankton that will lead to loss of 50% of earth's oxygen creation has me feeling a bit. well. Nervous.

Sugar (which gives you dopamine & helps you critically think) and the extra dopamine you get from both nostalgia and from you responding to your body’s craving Track when you get these cravings and you’ll get more clues about what your body is asking for and why
"cravings are your body's way of communicating its needs:)" what essential nutrient am i missing that can apparently only be found in a red starburst

The way the world is going, we need unpack the socialization around the kinds of relationships & families that are valued in this society. A lot of elders are dying alone & lonely. And a lot of us are relying on the hope that romantic partners might stick around.

That’s why it’s so important to question everything - all the things we take for granted and all the “it is what it is” and “that’s how it’s always been done”
Replying to @QueeringPsych
Explains what socialization is & how it affects every part of our lives w/ the goal of helping ppl become more aware. Everything is connected B/c socialization is taught the sec we are born, it’s easy to feel powerless & believe social problems & oppressions can’t be changed

We are all socialized to believe that anyone with a uterus is naturally supposed to be a parent That cìs women all have “mothering instinct”, that everyone is supposed to have kids or they aren’t a real adult, something is wrong with them, no one will love/marry them, etc
Most cis women don't even question if they're emotionally capable of being a parent, they just feel since they have the ability to bring forth life they should. But if these child abuse stats tell us anything, it's that maybe most of you should've been childless 🤷🏿‍♀️

So very related to the last part of this tweet Be aware of how your oppression socializes and puts you in a position to dislike another systemically oppressed group in society

It took me too long to understand that I didn’t *hate* kids - I had trauma reactions to their behaviors that would have gotten ME in trouble in their place, sensory incompatibilities, and infuriating memories of being the automatic “babysitter” as the youngest female in the room.

If you are a uterus having person who dislikes kids or makes a show of it Ask yourself to what extent are you doing this so people will stop trying to will & literally pressure a baby on you If this is so, how can you find autonomy without shitting on another oppressed group?
Replying to @arnesa_kustura
I don't believe that you can be an activist of any sort if you hold that much hatred for babies/kids. Not only are children some of the most vulnerable humans in our society but the vitriol towards them is also often rooted in the misogyny towards women, the mothers.

And I’m speaking as a somatic trauma therapist A *major* part of healing is connecting with your inner child And once you truly start that work, it makes you look at children, childhood, and how society treats children a whole new way
You can’t hate kids and love your whole self You have an inner child that needs to be nurtured to this day And someone who hates kids (and hating “childish” things) is very likely neglecting themselves and/or is being/has been neglected on some level

Everyone isn’t meant to directly raise kids But children are our collective responsibility Doing our parts to make sure they are physically & psych healthy and fulfilled helps us all And directly & indirectly supporting them reminds us of what we needed and still need

It's way easier (and probably very comforting) to take out your dissatisfaction with society on whoever is currently younger than you (even gen z does this) than it is to actually make tangible change and have meaningful dialogue with your peers. Everyone hates children so bad
