This is such an important point. Prevention is such an important investment. It helps the individual and helps us as a society.

The reason is the cost of adults and children’s services are going through the roof. Funding is an issue but we can’t keep pouring money into services without fundamentally changing things. We need to see prevention as an investment.

Why is this having to be considered? Funding for local government is all over the place.
There are statutory requirements that must be met by the ratepayers of Cheshire East.
So the council are forced to consider options that are just plainly wrong.

Here’s another good deed for the day. This chap in his Skoda Enyaq was struggling to charge, 2 mins and all sorted. It’s almost always the charge port actuator folks. 99/100 it can be sorted within two mins with a flat head screwdriver and some lubricant 👍🏻

56 parking spaces, 56 chargers in place. Even those that don’t run EVs contributed to this as per parking space, the cost was £75. Future proofed 👌🏼
