Something we've been waiting for! Happy New Years!

Let's talk Quilibrium. While many people are (im)patiently waiting for the network to resume and bring the feature we've all been waiting for (including collectibles), I would like to pause for a moment and reflect on how big a milestone this is. 2.0 was essentially the spark, while 2.1 is the "big bang" to the world as what Q brings to crypto/the world. To call 2.1 just a network upgrade, is like describing the a constitution a piece of paper. Q's v2.1 upgrade, once live, is opening up the world to programmable, decentralized/permission-less privacy. Not just currency, but compute, data, communication, stories, research... Applications like Quorum (quorummessenger.com), QStorage, etc. are an example of what's possible, but only the beginning. The platform for builders to construct their visions without having to ask permission or worry about middlemen. The details of the Quilaris launch are as follows: There are going to be 250 1:1 Quilaris collectibles in this collection. Each collectible represents the Q ecosystem: Freedom, Exploration, Privacy. The mint price for each is 3k QUIL or wQUIL. Considering the limited quantities, there will be a limit of 2 per person for the first week. In conjunction with this launch, we are going to be doing a limited-time deal with @QuilMilestones to include 1 Milestone with every purchase! When I first learned about Q, reading the whitepaper, talking to Cassie, I was originally thinking "this will be great for privacy." I was not wrong in thinking this, but over time, I've learned that my early grasp on the project's scope was severely limited. Q represents more than privacy. While Q will offer a decentralized way of storing files, private compute, etc., this is overlooking what Q actually means. It means freedom, it means allowing builders free of mind. It is breaking the shackles of centralized web infrastructure. In other words, and what this Quilaris collection symbolizes is that it opens a new galaxy of opportunities; the possibilities for collaboration, information sharing, and building a better future are endless. Q is a new frontier for those who value freedom, privacy, and a future where you own your data.

What I'm excited about is being able to create a set of collectibles that commemorates each network upgrade. Each upgrade brings new and exciting features to the world, and it just makes sense that there should be something to say, "I was there."
