Was vaccinating my dog for rabies and nurse unfamiliar with drama queen shiba behavior literally jumped back when he did loud 'i am being murdered' scream after being just touched with a needle. Then i distracted him with a snack and he didnt even notice the injection.

Endgame is a mistake. If you have no endgame the game is the game. If you have endgame the game is something you need to rush through and get out of the way to get to the actual game.
I feel like this is the biggest complaint with most Looter Shooters/ ARPGs. Lack of endgame.
Anthem, Outriders, launch D4, etc.
Yet Warframe is now the longest standing game in the genre and it legitimately lacks endgame. What’s their secret?

"There'll be Another Time.."
I wrote this line in Halo Reach for the last mission. The death of the player. The parting of Bungie and Halo.
But it also was intended to reassure players that Bungie would return. We were building Destiny and I wanted people to know there was still hope. This wasn't a final goodbye.
Now seeing this posted below in desperate hopes that Destiny will somehow return is.. very sad. Because there won't be another time. The studio I once loved has been dying a slow death for years. It seems it's finally ending. Forever.

I.. really have no words. This was the game franchise I would skip school over just to play a little more or be on when the new DLC came out. But constant failures had its cost on D2, and it looks like the game has run its course. I just hope this isn’t the end of the franchise

Bold assumption I'm sure no one's yet made: Sony is holding AK-47 to Bungles head and ordering them to start making money or else, D2 is dead, Marathon is never making it's money back, so they are dropping everything and starting development on Destiny 3.

Through all the ups and downs, surprises and triumphs, building Destiny alongside our players has been a monumental privilege. While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2.
As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio.
Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to.
We’re proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created. Because of you all, our universe is vast, built on years of shared stories, adventures, and victories. From the Cosmodrome to the Pale Heart to the Lawless Frontier, we have forged life-long memories and friendships with you all.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made that journey with us.
