Trading is a surprisingly sharp litmus test of character When you're in the market, with money and ego on the line, the stakes are high. In that environment, your habits, biases, and blind spots become impossible to ignore. I’ve noticed this in myself. I tend to cling to a belief system even when I’m aware of alternative (and sometimes superior) perspectives. Open-minded enough to recognize I might be wrong. Too attached (or too cautious) to fully change. What I’ve found, though, is that exposure balances out the extremes. Whenever I allow myself experience other frameworks through practice, I quickly see the value. The courage to accept superior belief systems that threatens your reality is the final leap toward growth

the less u need, the happier u will be cheerish the simple things of life if u chase material things, u’ll never stop wanting more today’s a watch, tomorrow’s a car, the day after tomorrow is a jet and so on setting goals and trying to achieve them is ok, but if u make ur entire existence into wanting more, u’ll never be truly happy i know sum will not agree with me, but this advice has been given to me by a very wealthy person and it took me a while to realize he was damn right
