As a parent, I can't even begin to imagine the pain this grieving father and the boy's mother must be feeling. It would break me completely. I think I would literally lose my mind. The pediatric department at Nasser Hospital requested our help!! Support: chuffed.org/project/136892-m… There is a huge influx of patients at the hospital in Khan Younis due to displacements from the North and the number of malnourished and sick babies being born daily. In a 24 hour period, the pediatric ward had 1,000 patients visit with is 10x the usual number. Mothers, babies, children are sprawled out on the hospital floor because of the overcrowding. The Sameer Project responded by delivering 30 mattresses so that the huge number of cases have somewhere to rest and recover.
