Former RAF Senior Officer. Adventurer, fundraiser and now Honorary Ambassador to the RAF Air Cadets. Passionate about inspiring the next generation through STEM
On Saturday I attended a Squadron dinner and was their photographer. Here I am photographed by Wing Commander @RAF_Emma Emma Wolstenhome, who said - “Always good to have a photograph of the photographer”
Last week it was great to attend the annual dinner and awards evening of my old @aircadets Sqn.
3 x ex-352 cadets attending who all serve(d) in the RAF.
@RAF_Emma delivered an inspiring speech, urging cadets to take advantage of every opportunity in life and "Just Say Yes".
Super to see you too, Sir!
I’m passionate about telling my story as people tell me afterwards that they are either inspired to take up a challenge of their own or that they want to send their children to join the @aircadets!

Super to bump into our @aircadets Ambassador @RAF_Emma in @TheRAFClub - I had been updating the Reserve Forces & Cadets Association on this years cadet activity and Emma was talking to @InmarsatGlobal about her adventures in the Atlantic Ocean - small world!
As Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II begins her journey from Scotland to London today, we reflect on her special relationship throughout the decades with the Royal Air Force, as Head of the Armed Forces.
Emma captured this brief video as the ship approached cautiously. 📹
I can only imagine how terrifying this must have been - on her own, in 20-30 kt winds, at night, approaching a 210m / 46,000T cargo ship. 😳
We’re proud of you Emma - and glad you’re safe ❤️

Hmm…in 2011, my @RAFEngineering friend Hutch and I developed the #first app for the RAF. It was called RAF Learning Forces and provided serving and retired service personnel access to all things ‘Learning and development’ raf.mod.uk/news/articles/new…
Emma, Cal and Emma’s family would like to thank @GearbulkGroup, the Captain and crew of PETREL ARROW…
▶️ For their exceptional teamwork and seamanship in rescuing Emma and saving Happy Socks.

We are truly grateful 🙏🏼
Emma would also like to thank @SaxaVord_Space, the April Fools Club, @LMUKNews and so many others for sponsorship and support.
Your kind words have been incredible and donations total £91,846, which through the @aircadets Development Fund will benefit so many.
Thank you!
And Emma was subsequently reunited with Happy Socks!!!! 😃
… also removing the danger to other mariners! 😊👍🏼
Emma is happy to say that not only is she safe… but Happy Socks lives to be rowed another day! 😀
