A poignant day as we bade farewell to the Puma helicopter on the northern leg of its final tour. The RAF’s workhorse of more than half a century was captured over Ribblehead Viaduct, before refuelling at RAF Leeming one more time. We were honoured to be part of the journey.🚁🫑

It was a privilege to share the centenary birthday celebrations of Arthur Walker. Stn Cdr, Gp Capt β€˜Geordie’ Lawson & Sgt Al Waring presented gifts to the former Flight Sergeant who served as a rear gunner with coastal command from 1943 to 1950. A true hero! πŸ₯²πŸ₯³πŸŽ‚

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas on Stn. With nine days to go to the big ho ho, rumours of Santa dashing around site are already rife. Visitors to the Falalala Leeming event were in good tune and spirit, and Christmas Jumper day raised more than Β£500 for @RAFBFπŸŽ…πŸŽ„
