Volunteers are at the heart of what we do. Thanks to their support, our Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Line is open 24/7 every day of the year. In October alone, our volunteers completed 112 shifts which equates to 280 hours of free support. #RCSL#Volunteers#SupportLine
They also delivered training to mental health professionals at the @SWLSTG, looking at the links between sexual violence and mental ill-health, and best practice responses for MH professionals.
Programme Spotlight: This week, the Training and Prevention Team began two days of training with volunteers at @Safer_Waves who will go on to support merchant seafarers who’ve experienced sexual violence onboard.
