🚨🗣️ Ruben Amorim on his favorite moment as Manchester United manager:
🗣️Reporter: “If I may ask, is there any moment or day you will never forget as Manchester United coach?”
🗣️Amorim: “Without a doubt, that night at Old Trafford against Lyon in the Europa League quarter-final second leg. It was one of the most emotional nights of my career. We started the game well and were leading, but in the second half everything changed so quickly. Suddenly we found ourselves behind again, and for a moment it felt like the game was slipping away from us.
What I remember most is the atmosphere. I have never heard Old Trafford like that before. The fans refused to give up, and their belief gave the players extra energy when we needed it most.
Manchester United have a historic record of never losing after leading at half-time, and I was determined not to see that record broken. The players felt that responsibility too, and it pushed us to fight until the very end.
When the comeback happened, the stadium exploded. That night showed me that Manchester United is more than a football club—it is a tradition, a legacy, and a family that never stops believing.”
