A new name, a new legacy! We’re thrilled to announce the renaming of Columbus Elementary, now officially Ruth Bader Ginsburg Elementary! 🎉 This change reflects the collaborative efforts of the school community, students, LSC member Oleh Salyk, and alumni, and honors Ruth Bader Ginsburg for her significant contributions and Ukrainian heritage, which resonates with many families in the Ukrainian Village neighborhood. Today, @PedroCPSCEO and @AldermanLaSpata joined students and staff to celebrate this new chapter! #TheBestAreWithCPS
