This weekend, #ACCXVII graduated and earned our PK-12 admin endorsements! I’m so hopeful about the future of education when I think about the amazing leaders in this cohort and I am beyond grateful to this group who has truly become a family ♥️♥️ #CantBeDivided
In 1995, I started Kindergarten in @fcpsnews & attended FCPS K-12 until I graduated. After I got my teaching degree, I went back to FCPS to work as an educator, and this is year 8 as an FCPS employee!! Today is a big first as I finally get to be an FCPS parent 🤩 #FirstDayFairfax
Man oh man do I wish I’d had explicit instruction around time management and deadlines as a young #ADHD student. I could have gotten to the systems I have in place now so much sooner!!

Twitter played a huge role in my growth as an educator. I was able to learn so much through #NoVAedChat and connect with so many amazing educators who work in my district.
I was also able to learn from so many other incredible educators that shared their wisdom on here for FREE.
The whole #ClearTheAir crowd… y’all are the best.
No matter what happens, I will always be so immensely grateful for everyone I have learned from on this bird app.
I am a better educator because of the learning that occurred from Twitter and the people I got connected to ❤️
I was going to do the cute thing people are doing where they tag everyone but I’m so afraid I’d miss folks and this is not a MySpace top 8 situation 😅
It would be impossible to thank everyone I’ve learned from, but a lot of y’all know who you are, and I appreciate you 🙏🏻
Hey Virginia! 4,100 comments have been submitted so far and the number is going up every minute. This is what solidarity looks like.
