We have a small mixed farm raising cattle, pigs, chickens & turkeys plus cats & a budgie. I worked 47 years at Marc F. Raymond Opticians; attended Frontenac HS.
No wonder we have no OPP on our rural roads when they have to babysit the poor drivers on 401 highway. Pulse Point just showed a accident West Bound 401 by the county route 4 on ramp service center. They will be busy there for a while .
The barn swallows are back at Cedarstone Acres in Wilton. It's good but they decided to build their nest once again up in the rafters of the the drive house. Right over top of the tractor which means I will have to cover the hood of tractor 🚜 to catch their poos
Just heard on the CBC News that with the Photo Radar cameras removed by Ford's Government that speeding has increased dramatically. We don't need less inforcment on this . We need 401 to go back to 100 KPH also. This is a very dangerous move on his part get votes.
The Gold Finches that were visiting our feeders have all of sudden disappeared. They must have stopped here to fill up their tummies for a week or so and moved on.
I went put my work boots on that I had not worn since last fall. One boot was stuffed full of black Walnuts. I guess the squirrels were using my boots for storing their nuts in for the winter, when I left them on the back porch in the fall for a few days. Had a toad to one time.
It was a nice warm breeze as I walked across the field from feeding our chickens in their mobile coop last night . No pesky bugs out but did manage to pick up a tick at some point yesterday. Went and picked up some meds this morning.
I don't think it is nice at all that our out going Governor general is being picked on for not learning French . She is a Canadian native and speaks here native language and English. I know myself it is hard to learn when older. I never was taught at our elementary school either
Put a fire on this cold damp wet Sunday here in Wilton. The cats are certainly enjoying the radiat heat along with this human. 64 F in the house earlier now 73 F . 50 F and windy here this morning.

Please, PLEASE, please -if anyone has seen him, give me a DM!
It's a fresh morning out there when I was taking the garbage out this morning. A brisk north wind had to put a T shirt on this morning for this light weight lad to be warm.
