The 2025-2026 school year has been historic for Durand Athletics! While we still have boys golf playing for a state championship we have seen records that stood for 30 years be broken, league championships, state finals appearances, the start of our boys volleyball program, playoff wins, and the first ever state championship in Durand Athletics ever! 🚂🔵

Tonight, the @Caro_Tigers senior suited up and made a basket for his team!
After the bucket, Bennett was congratulated by Sandusky and his own teammates!

Caro senior Austin Bennett, who sustained a spinal cord injury in July 2021 at the age of 14, was gifted tonight on his 18th birthday the news from @Caro_Tigers varsity basketball head coach Dave Lester that he will suit up and start for the Tigers at this Friday’s home contest.
