RECLAIM Has Now Closed. As of 31 May 2025, RECLAIM is no longer operating. We are incredibly proud of the work weâve done alongside young people to challenge inequality and amplify working-class voices.
While this chapter has ended, the impact of our community, campaigns, and the leadership weâve helped nurture will live on. Thank you to everyone who supported us - staff, young people, partners, and allies.
Our website and social media channels are no longer active, but the spirit of RECLAIM continues in all who carry its mission forward. You can find support services on the RECLAIM website.
More than 1 in 5 children in care in England are placed over 20 miles from home â some as far as 500 miles. That's #GoneTooFar.
Children should be kept close to the people and places that matter to them đ Can you help us reach 10,000 signatures? becomecharity.org.uk/gtf-petâŚ

*Deadline 12 tonight* đđˇPlease support the extension of âOur Passâ free public transport to all 11-16-year-olds in TfGMâs School Travel Strategy Consultation before it closes on January 26th.

Copy and paste the following statement into the survey to show your support:
I support and encourage young people to use public transport to get to school. However, many young people canât do this because of transport costs.
We must extend âOur Passâ to all 11-16-year-olds so that young people can get free access to public transport.
This will remove a significant barrier to education for young people and help our communities become safer and healthier by reducing congestion and air pollution.
Internships are a growing route into employment, with 51% of 21-29 graduates completing courses.
However, only 36% of working-class graduates completed internships compared to 55% of middle-class graduates.
Working-class people are socially and economically 'priced-out'

RECLAIM supports TfGMâs emphasis on school public transportation as it improves school attendance and pupil independence. However, public transport is inaccessible for young, working-class people if itâs too expensive.
Please share so we can get as many responses as possible!
