The Premier League trophy will be at The Drayton Park Arms on Sunday, between 12pm & 8pm approximately. A free event, just turn up for a pic. Good Guinness tho.

Official attendance figures reflect the number of tickets scanned and spectators present within the stadium footprint, rather than visual assessments of seating occupancy at any given moment during the match. FIFA works closely with stadium authorities and ticketing teams to ensure all published figures are based on verified operational data. Please note that, during last night’s match in Guadalajara, several ticketed fans could be seen standing in concourses rather than staying in their assigned seats throughout the match.
Community note
Photos from the match show thousands of empty seats throughout the stadium, contradicting the claim of only several fans in concourses. nytimes.com/athletic/73524… yahoo.com/news/world/art…

As mentioned, events are popping up with photo opportunities for fans. Another one this Sunday at Drayton Park arms this Sunday. Hope some get to Covent Garden today or Drayton on Sunday.

Just walked up, no queue, straight in to see an old friend. Get involved 🏆
Lots of chatter about the trophy being part of the tours etc but there and have been several events where the trophy has been on display - you just have to research & find them. For example, today in Covent Garden. All free, just need to turn up.

I would share the actual photo with me in it, but I fear my shirt choice today may create some conflict, as not everyone is as stylish as me 💅🏻

As mentioned on the podcast — the funniest commentary moment of all time. Mark Saggers, TalkSport, 2010.
Happy World Cup Eve everybody! To celebrate tomorrow's big kick off, we thought we'd bang another rankers episode out and compile the top 10 funniest World Cup moments of all time. Let us know what we missed and smash a like in the same way Diana Ross smashed that pen in 94

🎶 🎶 “We donate players old socks to a Horse & Donkey sanctuary, you’ll never sing that” 🎶 🎶
Arsenal, one of England’s big football clubs, just donated a pile of their players’ old socks to a horse and donkey sanctuary, and the rescued animals are now wearing them. It works because modern football socks are footless. Players wear separate grip socks on their feet, so the long sleeves get thrown out. That shape turns out to be perfect for sliding onto an animal’s leg, where they keep flies off sore skin, hold bandages in place, and cover the leg while hooves are trimmed. The sanctuary, the biggest of its kind in Britain, says the bright red socks have already cut down on vet visits. The donkeys have also decided they make good toys, and have taken to pulling bananas out of them.

Loving the European v US sports debate, but the best comment was last year when some College ball nerd said ‘Army Vs Navy is the biggest rivalry in Sports’ - on the same day it was India vs Pakistan in the Cricket 🫠

Over the last month, I must have had over 300-350 contacts about various things (Budapest, STs, screening, parade, various ticketing things) - always happy to help of course & will continue to but joining the @AST_arsenal gives you more support / resource so I’d recommend it.
