TITLE: "Falls prevention"
Text: "Dr David Levy, medical director at NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB) said:
"A lot of slips, trips and falls actually happen around the home so making a few simple changes can make your home a much safe space.
"Have a look around your home and spot potential hazards - keep an eye out for anything that could cause you to trip, like cables and clutter, and make sure you remove it. I also like to advise people to avoid any clear glass furniture as it can be harder to see."
Most GP practices and pharmacies will be closed or have limited opening hours over Christmas and New Year, so make sure you have enough medication at home to cover the festive break #WinterLSC24

We're jointly investing over £2m with @BuryCouncil to refurb 3 Knowsley Place into a new community mental health and learning disability hub for local people.
It's located in the heart of Bury and will improve access to a range of specialist services for thousands of people.

"The personal toll that heavy periods have on women’s quality of life can also be considerable and significantly affect women's health and wellbeing. Sadly it is not always treated in primary care with the seriousness it deserves."

Great work. It's a fucking disgrace that there needs to be food banks but it is so. Please to everyone coming to @travisband shows on this UK tour, tap yer card and get an EAT THE BEAT badge and support your neighbors who aren't able to put food in their tummies let alone go see a gig.
Great to catch up with Ian and the @bankuetuk team at the @TravisBand gig tonight at @DreamlandMarg
Money donated tonight will help organisations like @Medway_Foodbank
I wish they didn’t need to exist but pleased to support them whilst they are.

The rise in 2023 caused a stir. Has it continued?
