REPENTOGON v1.1.0 has been released! We now have support for Repentance !
The REPENTOGON Launcher is now required to use REPENTOGON. All existing users should refer to our website at repentogon.com/install.html for migration details and an FAQ about the launcher.
Work on porting REPENTOGON to Repentance is still underway. We have reached the point where mods that rely on REPENTOGON are mostly stable and don't have any major problems.
While things seem stable currently, we occasionally find or are made aware of an edge case that gets missed. This is trial and error and is a big part of why this has taken so long.
Rest assured the project is NOT dead, and there WILL be an update for Repentance .
Based on SteamDB, we now have reason to believe today's update will actually be a separate free DLC. If this ends up being the case, REPENTOGON should continue to function with no issue, provided the DLC is not installed.

As a reminder: the upcoming co-op update for Repentance on November 18th will break REPENTOGON. This is unavoidable due to the nature of the project.
Please do not pester the devs about REPENTOGON breaking- there's nothing they can do.
Our recent hotpatches allow REPENTOGON to still load the game if an unsupported version is detected. This means that the game will still load, just without REPENTOGON, with no further action required.
Once we have released a new version for the update we will announce it here.
REPENTOGON v1.0.12 has been released! Rooms can now be placed arbitrarily using the Level class, pocket items now have "weight" and "hidden" parameters, and boss/bestiary kills can now be tracked. The Beam class has been refined as well.

As previously communicated, we intend to deprecate the current REPENTOGON launch method and move to a dedicated launcher. Work is coming along nicely on that front and we hope to have more to share soon.
REPENTOGON v1.0.11c has been released! This fixes a recent regression on our end which caused Fall From Grace to work improperly.

REPENTOGON v1.0.9 has been released! In addition to adding a ton of new API features as usual, REPENTOGON now starts faster and there is further work to help fix more of the game's slowdown. Trisagion in general has seen large improvement.

REPENTOGON v1.0.8 has been released! As well as the usual bugfixes and API additions, this release contains work by @Ghostbroster that improves API performance as well- your mods might run a bit better now! Not a silver bullet but it helps.
