@DefraGovUK announced the designation of 27 new bathing water sites across England.
We provide rigorous testing so people can make informed decisions before going swimming in one of England’s 451 designated bathing water sites.
Thick algal mats already starting to form over Langstone Harbour. These kill the underlying invertebrates.
These are formed by excess nutrients. The water companies blame agriculture when it’s likely to be both and their contributions varying geographically and temporally.
