Now is the time to contact your legislature and advocate for the Alabama Literacy Act to include a good cause exemption for EL students that are still acquiring language skills, matching current research that states EL students need 5-7 years acquire language proficiency.

Russellville City Schools will be CLOSED TOMORROW, August 31, 2021, due to the potential for storms and possible flooding as the remnants of Hurricane Ida pass through our area.
School and activities will resume as normal on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021.
