For the first time, I have fully completed everything possible in DKC Returns. all KONG letters and puzzle pieces, mirror mode in every level, and most time consuming of all, shiny gold time trial medals in every level. I started grinding for these times on and off in early 2022.

Bro, I can't watch this or almost any other vanilla SA2 cutscene anymore without cringing at the sound mixing. So used to watching the movie my brother and I made, I forgot how much we did to make the audio sound just acceptable 💀💀💀💀💀

Here's the mentioned movie and particular scene in question. Despite the wonky mocap, this moment's emotional weight is improved dramatically when simply tweaking the mixing, dialogue/sfx timing, and music used.
