“Substance of the Unseen”
(Inspired by Hebrews 11)
Faith ain’t loud it don’t need a stage,
It whispers truth from age to age.
It’s the quiet step when the road ain’t clear,
The steady heart that outwalks fear.
It’s buildin’ an ark with no rain in sight,
Hammerin’ hope through every night.
It’s leavin’ home ‘cause God said “go,”
Not needin’ a map just trustin’ so.
It’s barren hands that still believe,
That heaven’s promise will one day breathe.
It’s mountains moved without a sound,
By knees that bend low to holy ground.
They didn’t see what they were told,
But still they walked, both brave and bold.
Through fire and famine, chains and sword,
They held the line… they trusted the Lord.
Some never touched what they were shown,
Still called it theirs like it was known.
Eyes on a city not built by man,
Hearts set firm in a greater plan.
So when your road feels long and dim,
And answers drift out on the wind
Remember faith ain’t what you see,
It’s what you trust will come to be.
It’s standin’ strong when doubt gets loud,
Walkin’ alone but not unbowed.
‘Cause every step in the unseen fight
Is held by grace… and led by light.
