Olivia Rodrigo has recorded a new song with her friend and longtime musical hero Robert Smith for her upcoming album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love. Entitled ‘what’s wrong with me’, the track received its live debut during Rodrigo’s surprise set at Primavera Sound on June 6, with Smith joining her on stage for the special performance. Introducing the song, Rodrigo told the crowd: “it’s really special to me for so many reasons, primarily because it’s my first collaboration. I can’t believe this song exists and with the person that it exists with.” The song marks the latest chapter in the friendship between Rodrigo and The Cure frontman. Smith previously joined her during her headline set at Glastonbury last year, where the pair performed The Cure classics ‘Friday I’m In Love’ and ‘Just Like Heaven’ together.
